Last year, my family and I took a vacation. We rented a vehicle for the vacation; when my husband became ill, I purchased temp cover insurance so I could drive the vehicle. It was kind of silly to only put my husband on the policy in the first place, I guess we just did not think about the fact that I might need to do some of the driving. When he got sick, I did not have a choice but to drive the children and us around. We actually ended up coming home two days early so my husband could go to the doctor. The next time we go on vacation, I will be sure that the insurance policy contains both of our names, just in case something happens. I do not know what we would have done if there had not been a way to cover me to drive the vehicle, I guess we would have ended up staying in a hotel until my husband had gotten well.
